Robert-AlstonRobert C. Alston was born and raised in Dade City, Florida, where he attended Pasco High School and graduated with honors. At a young age, he learned the value of hard work while growing up the son of a farmer. Through long hours of working cattle and harvesting citrus he developed a strong work ethic and the desire to help others. After high school, Robert worked in the Dade City area while attending Pasco Hernando Community College where he graduated with Honors. While at PHCC, he served as president of Phi Theta Kappa, a national honor society. He then attended the University of South Florida and St. Leo University, graduating with Honors and earning his Bachelors Degree in Management.

After college, and prior to attending law school, Robert worked in banking, retail management, and insurance sales. Robert applied for and was accepted as a student at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, where he was actively involved with campus activities. He was a member of the Moot Court Board; Justice for Phi Alpha Delta,; placed third in the Opening Statement Competition; and won the Freshman Closing Argument Competition. During his time at Stetson he also worked as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Lynn Tepper; participated in a law practicum with the West Coast Regional Water Supply; and served as a Certified Legal Intern with the Office of the State Attorney where he participated in the prosecution of criminal cases.

In 1999, Robert graduated from Stetson, Cum Laude, with a Juris Doctorate. After graduation, Robert worked as an associate at Newman, LeVine and Metzler, P.A. in Tampa, where he represented local and national companies in workers’ compensation matters. In 2002, Robert combined his past business experience and his legal experience and opened a solo practice in Zephyrhills.
